Bear Me Away

You’ve promised that some day
You’ll bear me away;
Your Word You have given,
I believe what You say.

Though storm clouds loom o’er me
As I trod here today,
I believe in Your promise
To bear me away.

Bear me away, Lord,
Bear me away;
Send Your angels from Heaven
And bear me away.

You’ve promised that some day
You’ll bear me away;
Your Son’s blood was given,
For my debts He paid.

Though now You seem far off,
I’ll be with You one day;
I trust in Your promise
To bear me away.

Bear me away, Lord,
Bear me away;
I’m trusting in You, Lord,
To bear me away.

And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there
you may be also. (Matthew 14:3)

Carry On!

The rain was cold, the sky was black,
The wind was howling at my back;
The raging sea surrounded me,
And then I heard the Master speak.

“Carry on! Carry on! My child,
The storm will last for but awhile;
Then you’ll see the sun shine through,
This too shall pass, I promise you.”

Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the
storm. (Job 40:6)

The Land Of Grace

Don’t get comfortable in Egypt,
Pack your bags, get ready to go;
There’s a far better country waiting,
Where milk and honey flow.

Don’t be a slave to your past,
It’s time now to break away;
A new life of freedom awaits you
In a glorious, marvelous place.

Look out past the horizon,
Beyond even your wildest dreams;
There’s a land full of hope and promise,
With living waters that stream.

Take the first step toward freedom,
God’s love will light the way;
So flee the darkness of Egypt ,
And shine in the land of grace.

For by grace you have been saved through
faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the
gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should
boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
