Bear Me Away

You’ve promised that some day
You’ll bear me away;
Your Word You have given,
I believe what You say.

Though storm clouds loom o’er me
As I trod here today,
I believe in Your promise
To bear me away.

Bear me away, Lord,
Bear me away;
Send Your angels from Heaven
And bear me away.

You’ve promised that some day
You’ll bear me away;
Your Son’s blood was given,
For my debts He paid.

Though now You seem far off,
I’ll be with You one day;
I trust in Your promise
To bear me away.

Bear me away, Lord,
Bear me away;
I’m trusting in You, Lord,
To bear me away.

And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there
you may be also. (Matthew 14:3)

Look To The Cross

Look to the cross,
It shines in the darkness;
Look to cross,
It’s beckoning you.

Look to the cross,
It’s the way of salvation;
Look to the cross,
Look and believe.

For the preaching of the cross
is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us which are saved it is
the power of God. (I Corinthians 1:18)

His Law

Blessed are they that know His law
And seek Him with all their heart;
For when we choose to know His will,
His wisdom to us He imparts.

He knows the way of each of us
And wants to bless each one;
He teaches us the folly of sin
And the sacrifice made by His Son.

His law was not meant to save,
But only to make it clear
That we’re all in need of a Savior
And that’s why Christ came here.

Blessed are they that keep His testimonies
and seek after Him with the whole heart.
(Psalm 119:2)
