The Tears I Can’t Cry

The tears I can’t cry
Are so precious to him,
He bottles up those that fall
And waits for the ones still within.

The tears I can’t cry
Just don’t want to flow,
And I don’t understand
Why He treasures them so.

But I know one day
The dam will break,
And He’ll be right there
To kiss each tear away.

Please help me, Lord,
To swallow my pride,
And give to you
The tears I can’t cry.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are passed
away. (Revelation 21:4)

When I Fall

When I fall,
I call Your name;
As I bow on bended knees
Your mercy flows again.

Your grace abounds
To me once more;
I call Your name
And once again I am restored.

Where else could I go?
What else could I do?
When I fall,
I turn to You.

But now, Lord, what do I look for?
My hope is in you. (Psalm 39:7)

Battered and Broken

She’s battered and broken,
A crushed little girl;
The abuse of another
Has shattered her world.
She’s hurt and bewildered
And feels no one cares;
She’s battered and broken,
But not beyond repair.

In the hands of the Healer
She’ll be made good as new;
He’ll heal her poor spirit
And mend her heart too.

And when He is finished
With this work of His love,
She’ll bring glory to Jesus
And the Father above!

He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
(Psalm 147:3)
