Perfect In Him

I’m far from perfect,
But I’m perfect in Him;
The blood of the lamb
Has covered my sin.

I’m often mistaken
And I so easily fail;
But I’m perfect in Jesus,
Because His grace prevails.

I’ve been known to stumble,
I’ve been known to fall;
I have a permanent place
At the foot of the cross.

But His mercy sustains me,
And His love never ends;
His grace is sufficient,
I’m perfect in Him.

But he said to me, “My grace is
sufficient for you, for my power
is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more
gladly about my weaknesses,
so that Christ’s power may rest on
me. (II Corinthians 12:9)

Come To The Cross

Come to the foot of the cross,
Come, every nation and tongue,
Come, every seeking soul,
Come, every wayward one.

Mercy and grace await you,
And love like you’ve never known;
Come to the foot of the cross,
Come give Him your heart of stone.

For the message of the cross is foolishness
to those who are perishing, but to us who
are being saved it is the power of God.
(I Corinthians 1:18)

I Never Knew You

I never knew You, Lord,
Until that blessed day;
I never knew how much You loved me
Until I experienced Your grace.

I never knew You cared so much
Until I fell down at Your feet;
You showered me with mercy
And filled my heart with peace.

I never knew Your power
Until my weakness made it clear;
I saw You in a different light
Through a veil of cleansing tears.

I never knew You, Lord,
Until You changed my life that day;
And I will sing Your praises
Until I see You face to face.

For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror;
then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part;
then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
(1 Corinthians 13:12)
